MONDAY, DECEMBER 13TH

9:00AM – Resort Orientation (free event): Meet the Activities Staff in the Tours Room (attached to the Main Lobby) for approximately one hour of information regarding daily activities, resort amenities, and local offerings. Complimentary doughnuts.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 14TH

9:00AM – Scenic Fall/Winter Tour: During this tour we’ll visit a few of our favorite “secret” spots known for impressive scenery (please keep in mind that foliage is non-existent at this point). Along the way we’ll see a secluded lake, a secret waterfall, view Bette Davis’ former home, and enjoy some of the most dramatic vistas in the region. Very little walking is required, but we will be on & off of the bus for multiple photo opportunities. Limited to 12 participants on our bus – please sign up in advance. Approx. 3-hour tour. $10 per person.

We’ll provide the supplies and it’s up to you to get creative (not an instructed activity). We also offer a wide selection of stencils; including seasonally-themed stencils such as foliage, pumpkins, snowmen, and more. Choose from a wine glass, mason jar, or mug as your canvas. Limited space and supplies – please sign up in advance. Located in the Fun Factory. $8 per craft. For a discounted price of $6, you may bring your mason jar back later and turn it into a homemade candle.

We also offer a number of yeti stencils if you want to make a yeti-crossing sign instead (or get creative and turn this into whatever you like)! WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15TH

12:30PM – Guided Hike to the Flume Gorge: Join us on this 2-mile hike to see one of the natural wonders of our state. Along the trail, you’ll view towering granite cliffs, numerous waterfalls, and two covered bridges. This requires walking up & down hills at times, but it is well maintained and something that families regularly do. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Limited to 12 passengers on our bus, but you may follow in your own vehicle. $10 per person (foot traction devices provided if necessary).

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 16TH

12:30PM – Guided Hike to “The Nicest View in NH”: Join us for a favorite, secret hike of the locals. We’ll talk about the rich history of the area and take in sweeping vistas of the Franconia and Presidential mountain ranges. This is an easy 1-mile walk with some minor ups-and-downs along the way. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear is recommended. Return to resort at approx. 3:00PM. Limited space – maximum of 10 participants.

7:00PM – NH Wildlife Presentation (free event): Join Real World NH in the Main Lobby for an interpretive video journey of New Hampshire’s famous wildlife in their natural habitat. We’ll learn about their behaviors and many of the common misconceptions surrounding these animals. This presentation features up-close and personal footage of local black bears, bear cubs, moose, bobcats, and everything in between. Come and see NH’s animals gone wild!

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7TH

10:00AM – Guided Hike to Artist’s Bluff: This hike, although short (0.5 miles round-trip), is somewhat strenuous and steep. Expect stair-stepping over boulders most of the route. All that being said, this hike is short and sweet, with a big reward for minimal amount of effort. The payoff is a classic view overlooking Echo Lake and back through the iconic Franconia Notch State Park. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Limited to 12 passengers on our bus, but you may follow in your own vehicle. $5 per person.

10:00AM – Guided Hike to Kinsman Falls: Firstly, this hike is not for everyone as it requires continuous uphill walking (think stair-stepping) for 1 mile (round-trip). Some may consider this hike strenuous, and you will encounter steeper pitches, rocks, roots, and mud in places. However, this may be one of the most scenic trails in the entire region. You will be greeted by a seemingly endless series of waterfalls and some of the most picturesque scenery imaginable. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Limited to 12 passengers on our bus, but you may follow in your own vehicle.$5 per person.

10:00AM – Guided Hike to Artist’s Bluff: This hike, although short (0.5 miles round-trip), is somewhat strenuous and steep. Expect stair-stepping over boulders most of the route. All that being said, this hike is short and sweet, with a big reward for minimal amount of effort. The payoff is a classic view overlooking Echo Lake and back through the iconic Franconia Notch State Park. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear recommended. Limited to 12 passengers on our bus, but you may follow in your own vehicle. $5 per person.

Along the trail, you’ll view towering granite cliffs, numerous waterfalls, and two covered bridges. 10:00AM – Guided Hike to Kinsman Falls: Firstly, this hike is not for everyone as it requires continuous uphill walking (think stair-stepping) for 1 mile (round-trip). 7:00PM – Meet the Caretaker of the Old Man of the Mountain (free event): Join the famed David Nielsen in the Main Lobby for a 1-hour presentation about his experience as the official caretaker of the Old Man of the Mountain. He’ll discuss his family’s legendary involvement preserving the great stone face, present actual pieces of the Old Man, and answer questions from the audience. This is a very unique experience that is not to be missed. Located in the Main Lobby.

We’ll talk about the rich history of the area and take in sweeping vistas of the Franconia and Presidential mountain ranges. This is an easy 1-mile walk with some minor ups-and-downs along the way. MONDAY, OCTOBER 18TH

9:00AM – Resort Orientation (free event): Meet the Activities Staff in the Tours Room (attached to the Main Lobby) for approximately one hour of information regarding daily activities, resort amenities, and local offerings. Complimentary doughnuts.

11:10AM – Wilderness Kayak: Want to get as far away from the crowds as possible? Then join us for a one-of-a-kind excursion on the remote Long Pond in a very secluded area of the White Mountain National Forest. Long Pond is known for it’s scenery and abundant wildlife, including moose, loons, and birds of prey. Previous kayak experience is not necessary, but it does require basic endurance to paddle for approx. two hours. We’ll be guided by a certified guide from North Country Kayak Company. We’ll be on the water for approx. 2-hours, so be prepared with snacks, water, and any additional clothing you may need. Limited space – please sign up in advance. Return to resort by approx. 3:30pm. Discounted price of $79 per person. No-shows may be charged.

7:00-8:00PM – Live Music  and S’mores: Enjoy the musical stylings of Paul Hubert as he highlights exciting original tunes and unique covers; distilling a wide range of American musical forms from folk and blues to old-timey and pop into a one-of-a-kind style. We’ll also have s’mores kits for sale. Choose from Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies & Cream, Kit Kat, Peppermint Patty, or traditional Hershey’s. $2 for two s’mores. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21ST

12:30PM – Guided Hike to “The Nicest View in NH”: Join us for a favorite, secret hike of the locals. We’ll talk about the rich history of the area and take in sweeping vistas of the Franconia and Presidential mountain ranges. This is an easy 1-mile walk with some minor ups-and-downs along the way. Conditions may be variable; appropriate outerwear and footwear is recommended. Return to resort at approx. 3:00PM. Limited space – maximum of 10 participants. 

4:00-5:00PM – Yoga at Pollard Brook: Join Reveal Yoga Studio’s certified instructor for a one hour session appropriate for all levels and abilities. Yoga mats are provided. Limited space – please sign up and pay in advance in the Main Lobby if possible (last-minute walk-ins are welcome if space is available). Meet at the Concierge Desk in the Main Lobby. Please arrive a few minutes early. $15 per person.

7:00PM – NH Wildlife Presentation (free event): Join Real World NH in the Main Lobby for an interpretive video journey of New Hampshire’s famous wildlife in their natural habitat. We’ll learn about their behaviors and many of the common misconceptions surrounding these animals. This presentation features up-close and personal footage of local black bears, bear cubs, moose, bobcats, and everything in between. Come and see NH’s animals gone wild!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22ND

9:00AM – Scenic Fall Tour: During this tour we’ll visit a few of our favorite “secret” spots known for impressive views and fall foliage (please keep in mind that foliage is well past peak at this point). Along the way, we’ll see a secluded lake, visit Harman’s Cheese Shop, view Bette Davis’ former home, and enjoy some of the most dramatic vistas in the region. Very little walking is required, but we will be on & off of the bus for multiple photo opportunities. Limited to 12 participants on our bus – please sign up in advance. Approx. 3-hour tour. $12 per person.
